Synopsis

Everyday at two o'clock the two brothers named Bourbon and Barath (played by Rupert and Tom) go out to the shed to kill themselves. They try a different method everyday but each day they fail. They are forever overlooking the presence of their frustrated fairy godmother as they carry on with their clockwork routine.

The Continuing and Lamentable Saga of the Suicide Brothers Comes to US TV

Residents of the US who have DirecTv, Dish Network or AT& U-verse, this is your lucky month!  The ShortsHD channel "is devoting September to the fantastical and futuristic with a collection of the best sci-fi short films on the planet."  One of those films just happens to be the award-winning film that Rupert Friend and Tom co-wrote and starred in, The Continuing and Lamentable Saga of the Suicide Brothers.  The film stars the two as brothers who attempt to take their own lives every day, and are watched over by their frustrated Fairy Godmother, played by Keira Knightley.  Shorts HD can be found on channel 568 (DIRECTV), channel 375 (Dish Network) and channel 1789 (AT&T U-Verse).

Suicide Brothers Q&A and Screening

Rupert Friend and the director of photography for the Suicide Brothers, John Colley, will stop by the flagship Apple Store at 235 Regent Street in London tonight to screen and discuss the film.  The event will start at 7pm.  Admission is free, but on a first come, first served basis, so head over early, play with an iPad for a while and then stay for the event!
